Hernando City Park Walking Trails and Track Open
In an effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, known as the coronavirus, we ask that all park goers use precautions to protect their health and safety, and that of those around them. At this time, city park walking trails and the walking track are open for public use but the park restrooms, ball fields, and playground equipment will be closed to the public due to the inability to clean after each individual use. Social gatherings of 10 or more people are discouraged. It is recommended by CDC and MSDH that individuals stay a minimum of 6-feet apart to slow the spread of the virus. The City of Hernando recommends that healthy or sick, citizens need to stay home as much as possible.
