7) Consent
A) Approval for Ed Espitia to attend Grant Writing USA class on January 29-30, 2026, and Grant Management class in March-2026, at the Agri-Ed Center in Nesbit, MS and pay any registration costs.
B) Authorize Gia Matheny to attend Main Street Capitol day in Jackson, Mississippi Tuesday, March 3, 2026 through Wednesday, March 4, 2026 and pay travel expenses.
C) Approval for the Mayor, Board of Aldermen, Nicole Hilario, Assistant City Clerk, Gia Matheny, Ed Espitia, Julie Gates, Cassi Perry, Jared Barkley, Steven Pittman, Denise Hardin, and Scott Smith to attend the MML Summer 2026 conference on June 28-July 2, 2026 and pay for registration, lodging, and travel.
D) Approve J. Ward to attend the Haz-Mat II at the MS State Fire Academy in Pearl MS on February 2, 2026, and pay for all travel expenses, no registration fee (MS Task Force).
E) Approve M. McCormick to attend Tactical Emergency Casualty Care Course at the MS State Fire Academy in Pearl MS on February 23, 2026, and pay for all registration and travel expenses.
F) Approve D. Sanford and E. Olmi to attend Firefighter 1001 I-II Course at the MS State Fire Academy in Pearl MS on March 4, 2026, and pay for all registration and travel expenses.
G) Approve J. McCormick to attend Swift Water Rescue Tech Course at the MS State Fire Academy in Pearl MS on May 4, 2026, and pay for all travel expenses, no registration fee (MS Task Force).
H) Approve C. Rowland to attend Fire management 101 Course at the MS State Fire Academy in Pearl MS on June 8, 2026, and pay for all registration and travel expenses.
I) Approve C. Barnette to attend Fire Investigation: Fire as a Weapon Course at the MS State Fire Academy in Pearl MS on July 14, 2026, and pay for all travel expenses, no registration fee (NFA).
J) Approval to release Montclair Phase 6 Maintenance Letter of Credit. Engineering has approved.
K) Approval of agreement with School of EMS Affiliation for student EMS ride-a-longs with the Hernando Fire Department and for Fire Chief Marshel Berry to sign all documents.
L) Approval to enter into an agreement with Jill Morris: Toddler Time and Move & Groove.
M) Approval to enter into an agreement with Melinda Franklin: “Beginner Sewing” and “Project Sewing” classes.
N) Approval to enter into an agreement with Briana Moyer: Crocheting class
O) Approval to enter into an agreement with Holly Johnson: Tennis clinic
P) Request to release maintenance bonds for Winningham Section C, D, and E and reduce section F to a maintenance bond.

9) Approval to apply for LEO Grant for new furniture for the Dispatch Department with a 50% match.
10) PL-1945 – Garrison – Aulman 2 lot subdivision - Request for final subdivision of 2 lots on 4 acres. The subject property is located on the west side of Timber Lane, north of Robinson Street. Jordan Garrison, representing the owner.
11) Change Order - Requesting Board approval to amendment #2 to the “Renasant Park Design Services – Phase 3 Splash Pad / Nature Play Improvements” agreement between the City and Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. to include the below scope plan additions.
-Task 10 – BCBS Requested Design Modifications-$35,000.00
-Task 11 – Grant Application Design Requests-$15,290.00
