  1. Approval of a food truck Saturday, May 2nd: Fishing Rodeo at Lee’s Summit Park.
  2. Approval of a food truck July 11: 3v3 Live Soccer Tournament at Hernando Soccer Complex.
  3. Approval of a food truck for Northpoint kindergarten end of year party at Conger Park on Monday, 5/18, from 9 AM to 2 PM.
  4. Approve Police Officer Daniel Hendricks to attend the Interview & Interrogation Class in Stapleton, Alabama May 3-9, 2026, no lodging or class fee, pay only travel expenses.
  5. Approval of Police Officer Daniel Hendricks for training RCTA(Reginal Counterdrug Training Academy) in Pensacola, FL no lodging or class fee only travel expenses.
  6. Approval of Dispatcher Nataui Jones to attend IAED 40hr basic in Tupelo 5/11-5/15/2026 and to include cost of class and travel expenses and hotel.
  7. Approval to close Panola Street on Saturday 4/25/26 from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM for the Hodges Wedding Reception.
  8. To prepare for any weather delays we are asking for Losher and Panola Streets to be closed to accommodate the vendors at the market if work is still taking place on the north and back side of the town square.
  9. Request to waive permit fees for the rehabilitation of the home at 62 La Bauve Street from damage suffered during a storm. (Work is being done with volunteer contractors)
  10. Approval to allow the Small Business Administration (SBA) use of the Gale Center at no cost to host a complimentary Digital Bootcamp for small business owners and individuals interested in starting a business in DeSoto County, Wednesday, May 27 9:00am-11:30am.
  11. Approval to enter into an agreement with the independent contractor below to lead instructional classes for Hernando Parks and Recreation during the summer of 2026 Tiffany Speck: Sewing
    • 6 weeks (Every Thursday) / Start Date: June 4/End Date: July 9 5:30pm-6:30pm
  12. Approval to enter into an agreement with Pinnacle Sports Productions Inc. to host a “3v3 Live” soccer tournament at the Hernando Soccer Complex on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
  13. Approval to enter into an agreement with Lobos Rush Soccer Club to hold a camp at the Hernando Soccer Complex for the dates below.This camp will be open to anyone within age range regardless of club affiliation or playing level Dates: 3 camp weeks: June 1- 5, June 8- 12, July 27-31
    • Time: 9am-12pm (early morning drop off 8am and late afternoon pick up 12:30pm available)
    • Location: Hernando Soccer Complex
    • Lobos Rush Soccer Club will pay the City of Hernando a $20 per player participation fee.

      9. Discussion of possible amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and Design Standards Ordinance.

      11. Approval of Resolution for the form and execution of an Equipment lease purchase agreement between the City and Trustmark National Bank: and for related matters connected to the Gale Center Project and the Mayor to sign all documents.
