A) Authorization for Cindy Brewer to travel to Oxford, MS for the Fall municipal Clerk conference October 28-30 and to reimburse expenses.
B) Authorization for Kristen Duggan to travel to Ridgeland, MS for the Planning and Zoning CMO class on October 1st and to reimburse expenses.
C) Approval for Alicia Ferguson to attend Leadership DeSoto beginning in November 2026 and pay for tuition.
D) Requesting Board approval to enter into an agreement with Keith Payne to serve as the Assignor once again for the 2026-2027 winter youth recreational basketball season.
E) Approval for the Mayor and Board of Aldermen to attend the NLC City Summit in Nashville, TN on November 18-21, 2026, and pay for registration and travel expenses.
F) Approval of Insurance Policy with declining of the terrorism rider.

13) PL-1984 698 Old Highway C4 Amendment – A request to revise the plan text of the existing C4 zoning to allow a cannabis dispensary. The subject property is located at 698 Old Highway 51, on the east side of Old Highway 51, south of Motor Scooter Drive. Blane Britton, representing the owner.
14) PL-1981 Final Plat - JR Steward Subdivision, 2nd Revision – Request for final plat approval of a combination of 1 lot on 1.01 acres. The subject property is located on the east side of Gwynn Road, south of Nesbit Road. Chance Walker, representing the applicant

16) PL-1983 Final Plat - Lot 4 Hernando Industrial Park, Phase 1 – A request for final plat approval for 2 lots on 4.91 acres. The subject property is located on the east side of Vaiden Road, north of Industrial Drive West. Chance Walker, representing the applicant.
17) PL-1987 Final Plat - Hawkins 2 Lot Revision – Request for final plat approval of 2 lots on .66 acres. The subject property is located on the north side of Southern Street, west of Gin Street. Keith Hawkins, the owner.
18) Change Order #4: Requesting Board approval of the $45,828.00 for the costs associated with the design changes and construction needs required for the installation of the revised 10.75” diameter backstop netting poles (16 total) & for the installation of 16, 36” diameter footings for the 8 shade structures. To be paid out of Bond money.
19) Change Order #5: Requesting Board approval of the change order in the amount of $74,599.52 responding to a formal claim by the general contractor for additional funds to cover ongoing, indirect jobsite overhead costs—such as the cost of site trailers, temporary utilities, and on-site supervision—as the project has taken longer than planned due to compensable delays. This is for 98 days at $749.97 per day, in addition to the contractor’s bond premium. To be paid out of Bond money.
20) Change Order #6: Requesting Board approval of a $0 change order to document a schedule extension of 206 days, which identifies a new project completion date of October 6, 2026. This includes the 171 days from CO #5 and the 35-day extension for CO #4. This 10/06/2026 date can only be adjusted through approved weather delay days included in pay applications or through future change orders with approved timeline extensions.
