7) Consent
A) Approval for Mayor Johnson, Scott Smith, adult chaperone, and Mayor’s Youth Council students to attend the 2026 MML Statewide Youth Leadership Summit (Jackson State University: Jackson, MS) on 2/27 – 2/28/2026 and pay for travel, registration, and lodging.
B) Approval for L. Hall to attend Glock MOS Instructor class in Hattiesburg, MS 11/18/2025 and pay all registration and travel expenses. Class was rescheduled from 7/2-31,2025.
C) Approval for S. Markway and K. Duncan to attend MSNOA Conference on 12/8-11, 2025 and pay registration and all travel expenses.
D) Approval of annual Software Maintenance Agreement and Hardware Maintenance Agreement with BBI.
E) Approval of $1,000.00 sponsorship for the Animal Shelter from All-Star Chevrolet.
F) Approval to waive all permit fees and inspection requirements for the renovation project of the Hernando Courthouse located at 2535 Hwy 51 South Hernando, MS 38632. Renovations to begin November 2025 and are anticipated to conclude in the Spring of 2026. We appreciate the continued partnership between the City of Hernando and DeSoto County on all projects.

11) Approval to accept the FY24 Audit presented by The Jarrell Group.

13) Proclamation honoring Mr. Jimmy Young on his 100th Birthday.
14) Approval of resolution for DeSoto County Museum budgeted donation.
15) Tabled November 18, 2025: Approval to a accept the lowest/best bid of $137,869.00 for the Additional Curb and Gutter along Hwy 51 from Allterra Construction, LLC. as recommended by Neel-Schaffer, INC. to finish the legislative funding of the Oak Grove/Highway 51 roundabout project. (Approximately $94,000 to be funded with Legislative funds and the balance to be paid from the City of Hernando MS Infrastructure Modernization Act Funds)
16) Approval of Change Order reduction of $26,000 with a total contract bid of $111,669.00 for the Additional Curb and Gutter along Hwy 51 from Allterra Construction, LLC.
17) Requesting Board approval of an agreement with Ankored, a software company that would provide background check and document/resource management for instructors, volunteer coaches, and officials.
18) Recommendation from Evaluation Team to the Board of Aldermen to approve and move forward with PATH Company, an ESCO located in Jackson, MS, for the LWCF grant funded sports lighting project at Kuykendall Park and to begin contract negotiations. This is a budgeted project for FYE 2026.
19) Recommendation from Evaluation Team to the Board of Aldermen to approve and move forward with PATH Company, an ESCO located in Jackson, MS, for the work including, but not limited to, HVAC upgrades & new roof for a portion of the Gale Center. This is a budgeted project for FYE 2026.
