7) Consent
A) Approval to pay all travel and registration expenses for Gia Matheny to attend the annual Main Street NOW conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma 4/12/26 to 4/16/26.
B) Approval for City Attorney, Steven Pittman to attend Winter MMA Conference on January 14, 2026 and pay registration and all travel expenses.
C) Approval for the Hernando Optimist Club to temporarily close streets for the A’Fair in Hernando (Arts & Crafts Fair) and 5K on May 16, 2026 from 4:00 am to 6:30 pm. and approval for food trucks at the event.
D) Approval to close Losher Street (Highway 51 to Caffey St.) and Panola Street (Losher St. to South St.) on Friday, November 13, 2026 and Saturday, November 14, 2026 and to close Caffey Street (Commerce St. to Losher St.) and East Center Street (Highway 51 to Church St.) on Saturday November 14, 2026 for Dickens of a Christmas.
E) Approval for Jasmine Love in the Dispatch Dept. to attend an NENA Leadership online class for February 10,2026.
F) Approval to give authorization to Tractor Supply to improve water system on McIngvale at no cost to the city.
G) Approval for Mayor and Alderpersons to attend the DeSoto County Economic Council Capitol Day in Jackson, Mississippi on February 11 - 12, 2026 and pay for travel, lodging, and per diem.

10) Proclamation in recognition of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Week, January 18th-26th, 2026.
11) Approval for the Mayor and 2 Aldermen to attend the Blue-Ribbon Economic Development Conference in Washington, DC on March 18-20, 2026 and pay all travel expenses.
12) Approval for Resolution by the Board of Alderman for Hernando, Mississippi seeking funding through the 2026 Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) and for related purposes.
13) Recommendation for the Board to approve MP Design Group for CDBG Architecture Services. Motion as follows: MP Design Group is the highest rated firm and the board finds the rating and competition sufficient for the 2026 CDBG Application through MDA.
