8) Consent
A) Approval for Zachary Wallace/K9 Aslan to attend K9 Seminar/Certification in Dothan, AL Feb. 16-20, 2026.
B) Adopt and approve 40 CFR § 7.85 from section of the Code of Federal Regulations under title 40 so we will be compatible with all federal. nondiscrimination laws, which is required to apply for U.S. EPA Brownfields and other Federal Grants.
C) Requesting Board approval to allow the Governor’s Job Fair Network within the Department of Employment Security use of the Gale Center at no cost to host a job fair on March 2 & 3. This is geared towards persons with
disabilities. Rescheduled from January 26 & 27 due to winter weather.
D) Approval for Arbor Day Proclamation on February 13, 2026.
E) Approve Surplus of firearm and an optic, in accordance with MS 45-9-131.

10) Approval to apply for a Firehouse Grant, which is 100% funded and no match for a new tornado siren program.
11) Approval for Motorola contract extension for Police Department body cameras.
12) Approval of contract to assign an office to the US Marshals Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force.
13) Approval for the LEO Grant Program- Deborah Rosenberg
14) Utility Fund discussion and adoption of new rates(water, sewer, & DCRUA have not been raised since 2017)
15) Public hearing to consider an adoption of the 2024 International Building Code Cycle, and the 2023 National Electric Code, with amendments.
