A) Approve training for Animal Shelter employees for Professional Development Training in Olive Branch, MS and pay for classes. 
B) Approve Transfer 2008 Chevrolet Express Van from Animal Control to Police Dept.
C) Approve Deborah Rosenberg to attend the Caliber Regional Conference in Jackson, MS August 16,2026 and pay hotel/travel expenses. No fee for class. -Dispatch
D) Approval for Alderman Andrew Miller to attend the Fall MML Board of Directors Meeting held on 9/17 – 9/18, 2026 in Starkville, MS and pay travel expenses.
E) Approve C. Shadburn to attend ALS and BLS Instructor Course on August 18-19, 2026 at the MS State Fire Academy and pay for registration and travel. -Fire Dept.
F) Approve C. Barnette and J. Waggener to attend Fire Service Chaplin on October 6-7, 2026 at the MS State Fire Academy and pay for registration and travel.-Fire Dept.
G) Approval of the ROW Waiver Valuation and Establishment of Just Compensation Offer, and for Mayor to sign, for parcel 001 for the Nesbit Sidewalk Project. (to be reimbursed at 80% by MDOT)
H) Approval of the ROW Waiver Valuation and Establishment of Just Compensation Offer, and for Mayor to sign, for parcel 002 for the Nesbit Sidewalk Project. (to be reimbursed at 80% by MDOT)
I) Approval of the ROW Appraisal Report and Establishment of Just Compensation Offer, and for Mayor to sign, for parcel 003 for the Nesbit Sidewalk Project. (to be reimbursed at 80% by MDOT)

N) Requesting Board approval to enter into an agreement with independent contractors for the following programs:
• Crocheting-Briana Moyer, classes will meet for 6 weeks, on Mondays in October and November. 
• Sewing-Tiffany Speck, classes will meet for 6 weeks, on Thursdays in October and November.
O) Requesting Board approval for the City to allow rentals as prizes for some winners of the upcoming 17th Annual City-Wide Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, August 8th.  Prizes will have an expiration date on the certificates that would expire one year to the date.  Prizes are listed below: 
• Small pavilion rental @ Conger Park
• Medium pavilion rental @ Conger Park
• Large pavilion rental @ Conger Park
• Gale Center rental (4 hours)
P) Requesting Board approval for the First Regional Library, in coordination with the Hernando Friends of the Library, to host at no charge a foam party at Conger Park on August 8 from 8:30am – 1:00pm and for use of the large pavilion there at no charge.  This event is free for the community. *This was previously approved for July 25 but was cancelled due to inclement weather.
Q) Approve T. Peters to attend FF 1010 Certification Course on August 24-Otober 22, 2026, at the MS State Fire Academy and pay for registration and travel.- Fire Dept.
