Bring the kids to a fun-filled morning at the Hernando Farmers Market!
Highlights include:
FREE Book: Each child will receive a free book (limited to the first 100 children starting at 10:00 AM).
Power of Produce (POP) Bucks: Kids get a $5 POP Buck to purchase a fruit or vegetable of their choice, promoting healthy eating habits early. (Limited to the first 100 children starting at 10:00 AM).
Participating organizations include Hernando Library, Excel By 5, DeSoto County Sheriff's VIPs, and others throughout the season.
Additional Information:
Excel By 5 Dolly Parton Imagination Library Registration: Forms available for parents to sign up their children for free books mailed to their homes. The Hernando Water Tower 10K is the primary fundraiser supporting this program.

Payment Options at the Market:
Credit cards and SNAP/EBT are accepted at the Farmers Market table in exchange for vendor tokens.
Thanks to the Double Up Food Bucks Mississippi program, SNAP recipients can get additional tokens for free fruits and vegetables:
Spend $1 on produce with SNAP benefits and receive $1 more for free produce, up to $20 per transaction.
