Join us for Senior Day at the Hernando Farmers Market, a special morning dedicated to our community’s seniors! 

 The first 100 senior citizens (age 50+) will receive:

 $5 Farmers Market Tokens to spend with market vendors

 Tokens are first come, first served so arrive early!

The Hernando Farmers Market, located on the charming historic Town Square, is open every Saturday from May through October and features a wide variety of local goods, including:

• Fresh fruits and vegetables

• Local milk, pork, and pasture-raised eggs

• Local honey and preserved goods

• Nursery plants, herbs, and cut flowers

• Baked goods, fresh salsa, and guacamole

• Handmade crafts and more

 Throughout the season, enjoy:

• Live music

• Free fitness classes

• Special events during market hours

 As a Mississippi Certified Market through the Department of Agriculture and Commerce, you can trust you’re getting fresh, local, high-quality products.

Payment Options:

Credit cards and SNAP/EBT are accepted at the market table and can be exchanged for tokens to use with vendors.

SNAP participants can also enjoy extra benefits through the Double Up Food Bucks Mississippi program, providing additional tokens for fresh fruits and vegetables.
