Inaugural Blueberry Jam at The Hernando Farmers Market and Children's Day This Saturday

The Hernando Farmers Market is excited to invite families and community members to a special dual celebration: The Blueberry Jam and Children's Day, happening this Saturday at the Hernando Farmers Market!

This fun-filled day promises a sweet blend of local flavor and family-friendly fun. Celebrate the peak of blueberry season with fresh blueberries, blueberry-themed treats, jams, and baked goods from local farmers and artisans. Visitors can catch a live cooking demonstration with Chef Michael Patrick of Magnolia Bend Grille at 9:30 and learn how to make his most requested blueberry dessert, enjoy live music from Hazy Daze Bluegrass Band, and shop a vibrant array of local produce, baked goods, crafts and more!

Children's Day starts at 10 AM with free children's activities, games and crafts. The first 100 children get $5 in POP bucks to spend on fresh produce at the market and a free children's book!
