HERNANDO, Miss. - Dolly Parton's Imagination Library has gifted more than 50,000 books to children in Hernando since the program launched in the city, officials said.

Hernando Excel By 5 said the books are mailed directly to children's homes each month.

Children ages five and younger who live within Hernando city limits are eligible for one free book.
