Brush or Bulk Garbage Collection Schedule

GARBAGE AND RECYCLE

Garbage – We charge $28.00 for once-a-week garbage pickup, brush pickup, mosquito spraying, and street sweeping.  The City provides one container and additional containers may be added for $8.63 per month.  (Effective March 2026)                                                                                  

Recycling – Customers that wish to recycle will be issued a cart for $8.63 per month.              (Effective March 2026) 

Scheduled Holidays

New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

If your scheduled garbage/recycling pickup falls on or after one of these holidays, collection of your trash will be delayed one day.

FAQ’s

What is the difference between trash & Brush? 
Garbage is household trash, collapsed boxes and other non-hazardous waste.  Brush or bulk garbage is any dead vegetation, yard waste, furniture or appliances that will be collected once a week by the city (662-429-9092).  Please call City Hall if you have any construction waste, hazardous materials (i.e. car batteries), ashes, or dead animals that need to be collected.
