City of Hernando Event Calendar Guidelines
- Event must occur within the city limits of Hernando.
- Event must be open to the general public
- Event must promote the economic benefits of tourism or enhance the quality of life of the community
- Event must be non-partisan and non-political
- Event must be organized for non-commercial purposes and not for profit, fundraisers for non-profit organizations may be submitted for review.
Events not likely to be approved:
Next, complete the form below with the details of your event. Allow 5-7 days for event to be posted on the calendar if approved .
To make sure your event stands out:
- Submit your event as soon as it's scheduled, even if it is several months away
- Include details of the event
- Provide a high resolution promotional image for the event. By submitting a photo you acknowledge that you are authorized to use the image for promotional purposes and are authorizing the City of Hernando the rights to use the photography for the purposes of promoting the City of Hernando as a visitor destination in any of our promotional or marketing efforts.
Once your event is submitted, it will be reviewed to ensure that it meets the above guidelines prior to being posted on the website. City of Hernando staff reviews submissions and reserves the right to approve or deny events and/or adjust an event’s description or category at its own discretion. Approved events will be posted to the website within 7-10 business days.
